DSBE's founder was formerly an active member of Santa Clara's Chamber of Commerce and understands the importance such an organization can play in advocating for business interests and balancing the power in City government and other civic organizations. As such, DSBE is committed to realizing a sustainable East Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce to help organize businesses in the city.

This effort will be continued by DSBE even after DSBF's creation and endowment given its alignment with the corporation's later-stage goal of maximizing profits.

DSBE looks to the membership of the East Palo Alto Bayshore Rotary Club to collaborate on the foundation of an East Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce.
