Sauber Janitorial Services was established in 2009. It is an active division of DSBE and was one of the founder's two inesses folded into DSBE's incorporation. It is currently focused on improving the recycling efforts of the city of East Palo Alto, California and offering direct and resold maintenance services to clients in East Palo Alto. As such, it similar to a VAR or systems integrator in high tech.

Sauber Janitorial Services was originally a sole proprietorship in Santa Clara, California. It is now a dba of DSBE in San Mateo County as published in the World Journal.

Short-range Goals

• Assure at least one business and/or government entity in East Palo Alto -- if not Sauber Janitorial Services -- redeems CRV containers per CalRecycle regulations. This has slipped target delivery from FY2012-13Q1 to date particularly as Mi Pueblo's non-compliance is tolerated by the State of California;
• Help defray DSBE's operating expenses by redeeming what CRV containers it encounters;
• Help DSBE's Legal Department prepare a small claims lawsuit and then a class action against Mi Pueblo for not abiding by CalRecycle's regulations
• Lobby for the San Mateo County Medical Center to have a used needles and unused medications drop-off boxes at its planned new facility for the Ravenswood Family Health Center in East Palo Alto. It currently maintains a used needles drop-off box at its Fair Oaks Clinic.

• Realize its intended Appliance Recycling and Repair department in an East Palo Alto facility;
• Realize its intended Bicycle Recycling and Repair department in an East Palo Alto facility;
• Realize its intended Computer Recycling and Repair department in an East Palo Alto facility;
• Develop a residential clientele in East Palo Alto;
• Achieve independent profitability as a business unit by FY2016-17 (June30, 7;)

Long-term Goals

• Develop a commercial clientele in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto;
• Develop a residential clientele in Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, and selected unincorporated areas of San Mateo County;
• Expand to Windhoek, Namibia.
